Bye Bye 2008 =)

OH well, finally it's coming to the end of the year, the end of 2008. 2008 is a very happening year for me. I have experienced ups and downs, tears and laughter, hot and cold, good and bad,  expectation and disappointment, pain and heal and many many more indescribable feelings and thoughts.

It is kinda difficult to summarize everything that I have gone through in the year and you know, I'm very the poor in narration and description. So I guess, I'll let the pictures tell the stories.

For those who have participated in the events and be part of my life and memories, thank you. Thank you daddy and mummy, sis and brother, friends and everyone that I know.

Ironic

I'm so vain and stupid. It has been one freaking year and I still kept all those messages. Perhaps they are part of my memories, to be exact, sweet memories. Therefore, I just couldn't force myself to delete all of them.

Anyway, I'm still fine. No worries.

A brand new year is coming soon and I hope it could be the start of something new, which definitely will. By the way, I am not really looking forward to the new semester because it will be a very hectic one. I have classes from Monday to Friday, even on Wednesday, I have to study till 6pm! And Thursday's lecture till 7.30pm just because of that stupid Pendidikan Moral! What turf! Can I not going back to study? T__T

I really enjoyed the days I have had in Penang. I mean now, after the  internship, I'm spending quality time with friends and family and living happily ever after. But reality is still reality and there's no 'happily ever after' in reality so I should stop dreaming.

However, before the nightmare strikes, what I can do is to cherish every single moment and enjoy my holidays to the MAX!! First of all, I should think of how to celebrate the new year. *ngek ngek*

p/s: The Nike Fans Tee that I planned to get him is bloody expensive!!! RM259!!!!!!! No $$$$$$ arh!!  =( 

pp/s: I miss Brother a lot. He'll be back in two days' time. Life's so boring without him because nobody quarrels with me. Faster come back!!! ^^

No more Christmas

I heart Christmas. [Quoted from someone] and have had an awesome one. Someone heart Christmas for an obvious reason, so do me.

As usual, I spent my Christmas eve  with a bunch of girl friends, staying close and gossiping about each others' relationship, uni life and future dreams.

I got infected (again).

Not feeling well and I'm actually having quite a bad flu. Fuh~ It kinda screw up my holidays. Really really bad. T____T

Yesterday was winter solstice, which is one of my favourite festival where I get to eat tang yuan! =) So, I stuffed myself with a lot a lot of them. Yummylicious.

And I spent my day with my pair of lovely cousins again. Somehow, YY's in extremely good mood that day. He answered every questions that I asked him and talked a lot, which he normally don't. And we played hide and seek! Omg. You can never ever imagine a 20 year old adult playing hide and seek with a 3 year old kid. Haha. I was pretty excited though. Anyway, he managed to find me because I burst out into laughter when he passed by my secret hiding place. I would say they are just too cute and muacks I love them a lot! In the end of the day, YY gave me 3 kisses, 3 watery kisses, full of his saliva, but that's so sweet!

I found this mask somewhere and I made everyone of them to put it on.

So I guess that's all for today. I need to get sufficient rest so that I can recover sooner. Christmas in 2 day's time. I don't want to get sick on Christmas. Bye~

Woots~ I'm free now! Totally free! Extremely free! And I enjoy the taste of freedom =)

And guess what? Daddy's back from China!! But, he didn't bring any Christmas present for us. =X

Anyway, he bought lots of mandarin oranges, the miniature one. They look so cute that you can finish them up in just a bite.

Dad, mum and I went to do some shopping at Sunshine Square. Then, I had my first bowl of laksa in this 3 months. *satisfied*

Fast forward my tomorrow please~~

Can't wait for tomorrow to be here. Can everything go fast-forward. As in, once I opened my eyes, it's 5pm already. Nah~ Impossible. Whatever it is, I just need to endure for another 8 hours and that's it. Hoho.

I need to shop for my new year clothes! Perhaps on this coming weekend. I want that pair heels, please..

The other day I asked mom whether she would mind if I dressed in black on CNY? I thought of wearing the black cheongsam top with red cherry prints that I bought last year. I guess it would be awesome to go with a pair of black satin shorts. But mom says NO. She said, CNY cannot wear black one. Even if she don't mind, other people will mind as well. Arghhh.. typical Chinese! What's wrong with black?

Since my idea is now banned, I need to shop for new clothes lor. What a waste of money >.<

Very not in the mood to do anything lately.

My hard work.

A big big PHEW~ for me. Just managed to complete my final report in time, in fact a few days earlier before the due. It is 50 freaking pages long!

My work.

Well, don't be too amazed by my crapping skills. Actually, 20+ pages are the chromatograms and results while 10 pages are for introduction and theories, easily available from the net. Back in UTAR, we can always modified our results to make them more presentable/reasonable. But over here, there's no way you can modify the results, because they are very precisely generated by computer software. It is either that you repeat the experiment or figure out a excuse possible reason that will lead to the faulty result. In my case, I did both. Haha.

I got my reports printed, photocopied and binded nicely. Three copies in total and so I'm one step close to the end of the internship. Woots~

But my experiments are still ongoing. At least I have to complete them before I leave, that's my responsibility. Anyway, another two more days to go. Add oil =)

Climax in CDR.

Hey people, I'm back!!!

Just finished my final presentation earlier this morning, which can be considered as the climax of the industrial training. Well, I would say, so far so good. =)

However, I still thinks that it is quite horrible when there's like 1001 questions pointed to you, while you have got totally no idea on how to answer them.

I was the second last to present, looking at how my friends were shoot by the Drs, it seriously scare me out. But overall, it was very much better than what I have expected. I am not too nervous and I could speak loudly and clearly. Thanks to Dr. N who prove read my presentation slides a few days before which gives me sufficient time to figure out the explanation for my experimental errors. So that I would not be too helpless during the Q&A session.

Initially, we intended to snap a group photo with all the supervisors and staffs of CDR who has helped us a lot during our training there. But since, most of them are not available, hence the group photo snapping session will be scheduled on next week, probably.

Totally relieved. The nightmare is over. But here comes another problem. My project is actually still under the "in-the-progress" stage, and I still need to work hard for it next week. 99.99% I will not be able to complete it in time. So, I have to come back next next week where everybody actually left already? So pathetic. *pray hard for my project*
