Island Vacation

  The 3 days 2 nights Perhentian/Redang trip was Great! *thumbs up* It was the first time I travel to the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia. The journey from KL --> Kuala Besut took about 8 hours.. Very long! Reached Kuala Besut very early in the morning, have breakfast @ a very traditional chinese Kopitiam there, in fact the only kopitiam.

Day 1:

   

Departed from the jetty to Perhentian Island by speed boat. The boat travel at very fast speed, that's why it's call a speed boat. Reached Perhentian Island in about 1/2 hours time.

Checked in the resort, unload our stuffs and took a short nap before proceeding to the snorkeling trip. Instead of taking a nap, a few of us cam-whored by the seaside right in front of the resort.

We were off to the snorkeling trip after lunch. We went to see turtles turtle (only one turtle seen, very hard to spot for it), soft corals, sea urchins, siham etc. Totally exhausted at the end of the day, I got cuts on my hands and legs while snorkeling. Wounds + salty sea water = extreme painfulness! Anyway, I still enjoyed.. Thanks for the snorkeling tutorial from Appa, Liangz, Guo Wei & anyone else..

Day 2:

      The sun shines brightly, it was a typical sunny day.

Early in the morning, we were all ready for our next snorkeling trip.

At the last snorkeling spot, Lang Tengah, the guide made us jump into the deep blue sea. Haha.. Extreme 刺激-ness

At marine park, during the lunch break, Piang climbed the coconut tree!

Departing back to KL, on the way to the Jetty.
