The new semester commences today!! Omg Omg Omg. I'm in my Year two Semester two already, approximately 1.5 years to go and I graduate! So fast! Everything is like just happening yesterday. Sighs.
However, it's really something very happy to meet all my lovely housemates, the guys living opposite the house, coursemates and the other friends! The only sad thing is that, two coursemates left. I miss Jeff already =(
For today, I only need to attend a 2 hours lecture. The first lecture is an elective subject, Culture and Communication which I find to be quite interesting. Part of the syllabus is something about sociology and we get to watch Discovery Channel's video clip during lecture. =)
There are lots of events going on on Week One -- Arts and Science Week, Blood donation campaign and etc. Friends are all busy but I'm free. Hahahaha. Going to be helper for BDC however not donating blood. =X
It's a brand new year, new semester! Many curl/dye/ straighten/cut their hair, but me, is still with my stupid look. Hair is still black and straight but no longer silky. Nah~
Despite the hectic timetable and the amount of replacement classes on Saturdays, I am quite positive that this semester will be a great one, mainly due to the subjects. Get to breed Drosophilla in Genetics lab and learn cell tissue culture perhaps?!!! Everything sounds so fun!
During Culture and Communication lecture:
Lecturer: In nomadic society, men hunt while women gather.
Liang: (whispering) Well, women do hunt. They hunt for men.
Me: (whispering back) Hmm.. Men gather too. They gather women.
